Dahua NVR5864-EI 64-Channel Network Video Recorder

The Dahua NVR5864-EI is a 64-channel WizSense Series Network Video Recorder designed for professional IP video surveillance applications. Powered by an industrial-grade embedded processor and Linux operating system, this NVR delivers high-performance recording, decoding, and AI analytics for medium to large-scale security installations.

The recorder supports up to 64 IP camera channels with 384 Mbps incoming/recording/outgoing bandwidth when AI is disabled, and 200 Mbps when AI features are enabled. Decoding capability reaches 32 channels of 1080p@30fps simultaneously, with support for camera resolutions up to 32MP. Video compression includes Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, and H.264 for efficient storage utilization.

AI Capabilities: The NVR5864-EI features comprehensive AI functionality both from the recorder and connected cameras. AI by recorder includes 2-channel face detection and recognition, 4-channel perimeter protection with 10 IVS rules per channel, and 8-channel SMD Plus (secondary motion detection) for human and vehicle filtering. AI by camera supports face detection/recognition, perimeter protection, SMD Plus, video metadata (human, motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles), ANPR (automatic number plate recognition), stereo analysis, heat map generation, people counting, crowd distribution, and vehicle density analysis. The face database can store up to 20,000 face images across 20 databases with 2.5GB capacity.

Storage and Reliability: The NVR features 8 SATA ports supporting HDDs up to 20TB each, with RAID 0/1/5/6/10 support for data redundancy and protection. Additional storage options include one eSATA port. The system supports N+M cluster for high availability and iSCSI for network storage expansion.

Connectivity and Output: Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports provide network connectivity with multi-address mode, load balance, and fault tolerance options.
